So far, I have 7 months partially planned out for 2016. One thing I'm finding to be very difficult is trying to arrange my plans in an order that would be most beneficial to my shop on
Etsy. Despite that, I'm slowly making headway.
The Plan
In the first month, over the first four weeks I will be working on creating a better brand for
Toad's Lily Pond Jewelry. Month 2 will be dedicated to identifying who I am trying to reach and then solely on researching SEO using that knowledge. Despite having what I consider to be a good handle on it, I'm certain that there is much more that I am missing. Month 3 will focus on tags and application of learned SEO concepts. Month 4 will be all about product photography after again reviewing the brand I want to create. Month 5 will focus on the copy portion of everything (in other words, the writing). This includes item descriptions, integrating seo, tags, etc. Month 6 will focus on evaluating what has been done thus far. Ensuring that effort spent is making a difference in the workflow and practice. Lastly month 7 which is the slowest month of the year for me, will focus on creating spreadsheets, updating all inventory, creating product breakdowns, generating more effective sales lists, etc.
